Why Joe Rogan Joining Gettr Could Be a Narrative Tipping Point
Rogan's adoption of the populist Twitter rival may signal the imminent downfall of more than just the Big Tech platform.
In the (barely) 24 hours since Joe Rogan joined the upstart, MAGA-run Twitter rival, Gettr with this post:
Joe Rogan has accumulated around 600,000 followers. (His follower number shows 8.4 million, but includes the handles of his 7.8 million Twitter followers.)
According to Steve Bannon on the late episode of War Room, Gettr is approaching half a million new members over the same period.
Twitter, according to data released in Q4 2020, has roughly 37 million daily active users. A platform adding half a million users in a day while the company they hope to knock out has been stagnant for years is a shot across the bow.
And what hope does Twitter have? They replaced their exiting and oft-derided hipster founder, Jack Dorsey, with a man in Parag Agrawal who is more into censorship than Dorsey is, saying, “Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment, but our role is to serve a healthy public conversation and our moves are reflective of things that we believe lead to a healthier public conversation.”
Their stock price is at its lowest point since the 2020 election after achieving an all-time high in the weeks after Joe Biden usurped the highest office in the land, just as Big Tech wanted. Biden filled his illegitimate administration with former employees of the tech companies after they censored Americans on behalf of Democrat and uniparty politicians in California and beyond, helping Biden to sell the narrative that, somehow, Joe Biden received 81 million real, legal, American votes campaigning from his basement.
Twitter did their part by suspending the New York Post from the platform for daring to report on the hard drive containing irrefutable proof of the fake first family’s decades of selling American interests to the highest bidder. The bidders were often our greatest adversaries, but the Bidens were happy to accept money for selling out the country and its people, especially when crack and hookers are involved. Thank goodness the Bidens still had access to Secret Service and FBI favors, even while Joe was a private citizen and Hunter was selling his future office and arranging electoral favors.
(All of this is all the laptop - forget Ashley’s very real diary - and will be widely available when former Trump staffer Garrett Ziegler releases his comprehensive report on the Biden crime family in the coming days through his research firm, Marco Polo.)
Selling out constituents and Americans to bankers, foreign nationals, and global interests was the Biden family business, and business was good.
According to polling done in the wake of the stolen 2020 election, 9.4% of Biden voters would’ve voted otherwise if they had known about the Hunter Biden laptop. That’s almost 8 million undoubtedly real American people. Without mentioning election fraud, that knowledge alone would’ve flipped the election to Trump.
Twitter censored a news organization founded by Alexander Hamilton, theorizing that the info could be hacked material, and “50 former senior intelligence officials” wrote a sloppy and nonsensical letter claiming the laptop was a product of a Russian disinformation operation based on no evidence while acting intelligence officials said the opposite.
Here’s how certain they were. From the letter: “We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.”
The story effectively disappeared. Biden voters, in their ignorance, claimed that even if the laptop was real, it’s still out of bounds to produce it so close to an election, once people had started voting. They are, after all, the party of pure moral principles.
For the record, it seems that shipping fake/illegal mail-in ballots into Democrat-expanded ‘voting centers’ at 3am in order to hand Joe Biden the “win”, based mostly on Biden outperforming Barack Obama with unquestionably real black American voters in a handful of cities (he underperformed Obama everywhere else) was not out of bounds.
In fact, all of that is so in bounds that no one can ever question it. It’s so in bounds that Chuck Schumer is attempting to destroy the Senate filibuster to codify every element of the rampant illegality.
Joe Rogan joining Gettr isn’t only a win for the fledgling platform and a dent in the armor of the tech giant, it may well be a significant tipping point in the public perception of our national narrative because it comes on the heels of his interview with Dr. Robert Malone.
The Malone interview, like Rogan’s recent interview with Dr. Peter McCullough, is certain to become the most listened-to episode in podcast history. The McCullough interview reportedly had over 40 million listens, and that was a week ago.
Like the McCullough interview, the Malone episode featured a renowned expert in a relevant field cooly and calmly dismantling the false narrative that the media and its pharma sponsors have sold the American public for two straight years. Malone went deep on the blocking of lifesaving therapeutics, an action responsible for half-a-million American deaths with covid. He discussed how mandates, especially for experimental “vaccines”, violate the Nuremberg Code. He discussed the phenomenon of Mass Formation Psychosis - an idea so dangerous that, as Jack Posobiec noticed, Google had to change their algorithm to ensure only approved links would show up in a search.
The information Malone shared with Rogan and his audience was made even more powerful by the fact that Twitter had banned Malone from its platform the day before the episode was recorded.
(There are excellent write-ups and breakdowns of the interview on Zerohedge, here and here, and on QTR’s Fringe Finance Substack here, so I will not rehash the play-by-play. I will say that this episode should be listened to, in full, and shared by everyone who would like the society-wide delusion to come to a quick end. I’ll also mention that Malone’s explanation of the problem as Mass Formation Psychosis has been the primary focus of my own podcast, Be Reasonable, for the last eighteen months or more.)
As a result of Twitter’s existential necessity to censor speech that threatens the Central Narrative, they have once again placed themselves in an even more precarious position. In a passing comment about where listeners could find more information about Malone and stay up to date with his thinking, Malone mentioned that the best place to follow him was on Gettr, “The Twitter Killer”.
Malone Tells Rogan About Gettr (video here)
Rogan hadn’t heard of Gettr. While Gettr is not yet a household name, someone who seemingly has his finger on the pulse of the culture, as Rogan does, should have at least heard of it by now. This might not seem like a big deal, but consider this. In Rogan’s recent covid-related interviews, he seems genuinely shocked to hear information that many of us have been openly discussing for nearly two years, it indicates that even someone in his position is trapped inside an nearly impenetrable bubble.
Joe Rogan is an absolute legend in podcasting, has a massive appetite for new information and an incredible ability to store and incorporate that information, and seems to be an all-around great guy, but I have often wondered over the last two years how it’s possible that he’s missing so much of what is being talked about by all those smart people whose voices have been censored.
Fourteen months after a stolen American election - where any questioning of the obviously fraudulent result is likened to domestic terrorism - he hasn’t had anyone on to explain the overwhelming evidence that Joe Biden is an illegitimate president. His guests are often globalists and technocrats like Tristan Harris and Eric Weinstein, or Very Smart People like Sam Harris and Nicholas Christakis. All of these people take hardline stances on subjects they provably do not know anything about. Rogan has realized that Russia collusion was a hoax, but Sam Harris regularly hosts the same ‘former senior intelligence officials’ who authored the Hunter Biden laptop letter, propagandists from The Atlantic, and panelists from the Transition Integrity Project, etc…
Does Joe Rogan simply not realize over half the country now understands that Joe Biden is illegitimate? Has he ever considered what it means that an election was stolen? Perhaps not.
Giving him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps now he’ll see enough to make him take the idea of election fraud seriously. If he’s the man we imagine him to be - the curious truth-seeker with the massive audience of curious truth-seekers - perhaps we will see Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, Michael Flynn, or Seth Keshel as guests in the near future.
There may be few things more important to his coming awakening to the truth of the 2020 election than his move to Gettr. Assuming he begins to use the platform regularly, he will be exposed to people and ideas that he was not allowed to see or read on Twitter, the election “irregularities” chief among these.
It’s a tragic reality with tragic consequences that the overwhelming hard evidence of election fraud still has not found a critical-mass audience to this point, as the illegitimate administration tears the country apart in myriad ways. Joe Rogan’s attention can immediately change that.
Rogan’s massive Spotify deal last year, just after the pandemic began (what a coincidence!) was fodder for many, including myself, to wonder if free speech and open inquiry had taken a back seat to the pursuit of the truth in what has always been a profoundly open forum. We may soon find out.
If Rogan really doesn’t realize the very real controversy about 2020 election, we can expect a few weeks on Gettr might wake him up. And what then?
What will Joe Rogan think about the fact that the media, the tech companies, and many of his own guests have cooperatively worked to steer him away from the truth? What will happen when he realizes that he, too, with his fame, fortune, and massive audience was as much a victim of censorship and an algorithm that determines what he’s allowed to see?
While Rogan’s shocked responses to many things said by Malone and McCullough indicate confusion from being misled about the virus, what will he think when he realizes that he was actively prevented from knowing even the most basic information about election fraud?
And this is what happened. The man with the biggest audience in the world - larger than the entire cable news industry combined - was made intentionally clueless about perhaps the most important subject in our country’s history.
Should we expect he will be quiet about this? I do not.
When he realizes Gettr is full of smart, responsible people ready to fill in all the blank spots the media and tech censorship has created, will he just shrug and stay active on Twitter?
What happens when Joe Rogan begins telling millions of his fans that they’ve been had?
If Joe Rogan starts using Gettr regularly, we may be looking at Twitter finally being fully exposed in the eyes of the mainstream, and it’s about time.
Twitter needs Joe Rogan not to know the truth. Joe Rogan doesn’t need Twitter at all.
Will Rogan begin advertising his Gettr account on Twitter? Maybe. Would Twitter ban him for it? It’s quite possible. If they do, it’ll be only the latest example of Twitter attempting to solve a problem by creating a far bigger one.
The Wokes in the media may think Joe Rogan is extremely controversial and toxic, but millions upon millions of people do not - among them, some of the smartest and most influential members of our society. If they’re inside the same bubble as Joe Rogan, perhaps they’re equally uninformed about covid and election fraud. They’re attached to the Central Narrative and kept in that box through algorithms and censorship.
If I’m right, Joe Rogan could be on the verge of sending an arrow through Twitter’s Achilles heel. If that happens, it won’t only be the end of Twitter’s reign as the control apparatus for the narrative of BlueAnon media elites and the technocrats, finance bros, and woke bloggers.
It may well be the end of the Central Narrative, already clinging by a thread, and only due to the massive censorship regime. In an information war, information is ammunition. We are in an information war. This is undeniable.
No one can distribute information like Rogan can. He’s about to get a whole lot of new ammunition. We are reaching the endgame.
Thank You Chris.
You've been busy Chris. This is a pure joy to read. From your pen (or keyboard) to Rogan's ears!
