I so firmly agree with your view that we should not put blind faith in anyone in the political sphere. I will say that I keep an ear even to Trump and Bannon. I believe Trump wants/needs our input and feedback. And our Dad occasionally says things, or expresses viewpoints, that I either don’t agree with, or know to be the incorrect version of history. We should question and contemplate everything we hear to avoid possibly being led off a cliff like lemmings.
Some people may question your overly cautious attitude towards JD Vance. I would suggest that people research or remember back to our last populist president, Reagan, and his choice for vice president. As a kid, I remember the Nightly News' daily reporting of the hostage crisis in Iran. It is so obvious now that the entire thing was a multipronged CIA operation. If every aspect of the plan had succeeded, Daddy Bush would have been president 8 years sooner and we might be living in a very different world.
