I have recently gone back and watched several older movies which I had abandoned because of my distaste for anything critical of the US state post 9/11.
This time round, I was able to enjoy them, because of how my feelings on the subject have evolved since Trump. Included in this list are: The Ghost Writer, The Russia House and Secret State (all on Prime streaming currently).
In that vein, I have also revised, for similar reasons, movies that I had watched previously and enjoyed, but which I had then discredited in my heart because they didn't jive with my post 9/11 sense of virtue AND/OR that the major stars in the movies had become overtly antiTrump since 2016. They are: Three Days of the Condor, Conspiracy Theory, the Bourne Trilogy, Safe House.
This is all part of the process you have previously described as opening one's mind to the possibility that "established facts" may just be "contrived beliefs".
Everyone needs a break and a time to decompress and spend time with family and friends and not worry about work so you take yourself a vacation Chris and we'll see and listen to you when you come back all refreshed and ready to go 😂
