Thank you, Chris, for you honesty and your desire to know and live and share the Truth as you know and are learning it. It truly appears to me that you are getting ever closer to it ... to knowing it and living it ... to knowing Him and knowing that the ultimate goal for us in this life is that He, His Spirit, live in and guide everything we think, say, do, desire. His will for us is infinitely better than ANYthing we could ever choose for ourselves -- not only because He is our infinitely wise, all-knowing Creator, but because He truly loves us. There is not and never will be a higher, more joyful, more peace- and purpose-filled path of Life. Carry on, brother.
This reminds me of the parable of the seeds. How as Christians, we are called to share the good news with all. And all people will not hear the message. Some seeds need their soil tilled more to understand and receive the message. Some seed falls in the thorns and dry bushes. They die. Many get eaten by the birds. And then there is the seeds that are planted in good soil and their plants are growing producing fruit and because they were cultivated they are the ones that truly are bearing what God designed.
If he is the vine and we are the branches, we need to produce the fruit.
You Chris are producing fruit.
You made a choice to stop whatever it was you were doing (paying attention to the weeds on the side of the road and whatever that meant), you focused on the crops instead. You started looking to the Son and the (sun) knowing that your crops needed tending.
So continue to plant and till the soil. You will see your fruit, and just stay focused because we are sheep. It is too easy to be pulled and persuaded in a direction. And I see it too in my own life.
But, if we focus on the sun and the (son of man) then we can see the work that it does. We can do Gods work, and we can experience the life in Christ he truly wanted for us all.
I pray for you and your intellect and wisdom. May God show up in all things you do. He is generous and will reward you with intangibles that no man can comprehend. 🙏

This article speaks TRUTH. It's a powerful piece & you will get hoodwinked, every time, without an open mind, or, you don't immediately pick a side. The rule is, wait at least 72 hours for the dust or "story" to develope or uncover. Even then, proceed with caution. Question everything, is NOT just a catch phrase.
So thought provoking—I read it twice. Beautiful work. I have been in the “choose neither” camp for quite some time and find it so frustrating to interact with those who still want to choose a side. There is something deeply human about partisanship—we are clearly hardwired this way. Belongingness is an existential need. But finding the right group to belong to can be a lifelong struggle when Truth is so hard to discern for most that Trust becomes nearly impossible. I thank God daily for you, Chris, and Badlands, where at least the attempt at telling the Truth is the mission we all are on.
